From the confines of Geekminded
And finally, I write to you from Geekminded. The Internet access was installed yesterday, as my dad and I were in here putting-up the slatwall. We painted a couple of weekends ago, and the furniture and fixtures arrived shortly thereafter.
What does that mean for the impending opening? Well, it currently means that we will be open as soon as I have something to sell! I have lots of stuff on order, and hopefully it will be here soon.
Bardstown road aglow will be this Saturday (December 2nd) from dusk until 10pm. I will be open for that regardless of merchandise. I am hoping that I can have something to sell, but I will be here either way. And after that, I will announce our grand opening asap.
Updates
Medina and I returned from our honeymoon in one piece, and now opening the store is priority number one. Unfortunately, I am still waiting on the paperwork from the state which will allow me to start buying inventory. I’m still shooting for the 20th, but if the paperwork doesn’t arrive tomorrow, I am going to have to bump it back a week. Either that, or I open with no inventory!
Either way, the store will open soon. I can’t wait to start stocking the shelves.
